I do what I love, and love what I do
I love what I do. The field of medicine has always been my passion. I knew from when I was very young that I wanted to be involved in some way with medicine. As I grew older and was nearing the end of my high school career, I began turning my focus towards what I would do after high school, and discovered the field of surgical technology, or surgical assisting. I was instantly captivated. I just somehow knew that deep down this is what I supposed to do. I immediately set out to achieve this goal and for last 18 months of my high school experience I dedicated my studies at the high school towards advancing my knowledge of the human body, and then additionally went to college during the summers and in the afternoons/evening to acquire my degree in surgical assisting. By the time I was walking at graduation, I was privileged to have 2 degrees in hand; my high school diploma, and more important to me, my surgical technician certification. Since that time, minus a two year hiatus to serve a humanitarian and proselyting mission in Europe, I've had the opportunity to help people who can't help themselves and provide an essential service in the form of surgery. I specialize in transplant and robotic surgery, with also a background in general oncology. I absolutely love what I do, and find personal satisfaction in my career. I love helping people, and this is the perfect place to do that.
